1. Parties, Scope and Acceptance
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern the relationship between the website at inktrier.com and its related services (the "Platform" or "InkTrier") and the people who visit or sign up to the Platform ("Users"). Information about the service provider is in the last section.
By signing up to or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. How your personal data is processed is explained in a separate document, the Privacy Policy; that document is an information notice, not a consent form.
Certain services (e.g. paid services) may have additional terms that you accept separately; if they conflict, the terms specific to that service apply.
2. Definitions
- Client: A User who uses the tattoo try-on tool, posts a tattoo request (listing), receives quotes or requests an appointment.
- Business: A tattoo studio, an independent tattoo artist with their own page or a tattoo removal (laser) clinic that has a page on the Platform, and the account holder who manages that page.
- Artist: A tattoo artist who appears by name, photo and work on a Business page.
- Tattoo request (listing): A request a Client creates to receive price quotes.
- Quote: The price and/or message a Business gives in response to a tattoo request.
- Job and chair listing: A listing a Business publishes to find an artist, apprentice, assistant or chair renter.
- Flash design: A Business's ready-made tattoo design with a set price.
- Content: Any text, image, photo, design or information Users upload to the Platform.
3. Nature of the Service: InkTrier Is an Intermediary Platform
InkTrier is an online platform consisting of a tattoo try-on (simulation) tool, a directory of tattoo studios, artists and clinics, price quote requests, appointment requests, flash designs and job listings. Under Turkish Law No. 6563, InkTrier is an intermediary service provider, and under Law No. 5651 it is a hosting provider for Users' content.
- InkTrier does not provide tattoo, piercing or laser services; Businesses provide these services in their own name and under their own responsibility.
- The parties to any agreement made between a Client and a Business (price, design, appointment, deposit, cancellation, performance of the service) are the Client and the Business; InkTrier is not a party, surety or guarantor of these agreements.
- No payments are taken or brokered through the Platform. Every payment, including deposits, is made directly between the Client and the Business.
- The job and chair listings section is a space where Businesses publish their listings; InkTrier is not the employer and is not a party to the employment relationship.
- InkTrier does not inspect or guarantee Businesses' licenses, hygiene certificates, professional competence or the quality of their work. Publishing a page only shows that its profile details were found to comply with the Platform's rules.
4. Membership and Account Security
- Accounts are created with an email address and password or with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping the information you provide accurate and up to date.
- Accounts are personal; they can't be transferred to or opened on behalf of someone else. A person who opens an account on behalf of a Business confirms that they are authorized to represent that Business.
- You are responsible for the security of your password and of the devices that can access your account. If you notice unauthorized use of your account, report it immediately to destek@inktrier.com.
- Quote, appointment and password reset emails are sent to your account email address, so you are expected to verify it. If the address is wrong or isn't yours, these notifications won't reach you.
- If use contrary to these Terms is suspected, InkTrier reserves the right to ask for verification and to temporarily restrict or close the account (see Suspension and Closure of Accounts).
5. Age Limit
To open an account, post a tattoo request, send or accept a quote, request an appointment or apply to a job listing, you must be at least 18 years old. A User who opens an account confirms that they are over 18.
Accounts found to belong to people under 18 and their listings are closed. Businesses must also comply with the applicable legislation and their own rules on serving people under 18. The tattoo try-on tool doesn't require an account.
6. Tattoo Try-On Tool
- The tattoo try-on tool is a visualization tool. Its results are meant to give you an idea; they don't guarantee how the tattoo will really look, its size, how the color will hold or how it will look after healing.
- A tattoo is permanent. You are strongly advised to make your final decision after consulting a tattoo artist.
- The photo you use in the tool is processed in your browser; it isn't uploaded to our servers unless you save a design to your account. Details: Privacy Policy.
- You may only upload photos and designs that are yours or that you have the right to use. Don't use someone else's photo without their permission.
7. Tattoo Requests (Listings) and Quotes
- Your tattoo request is shown anonymously in public areas: only the style, placement, size, city/district and budget are visible. Your description and design image are shown only to signed-in tattoo Businesses.
- Businesses in the same city may be notified of your request by email. The InkTrier team may review your request to find a suitable Business and may contact you.
- Businesses send quotes; quotes are preliminary offers, not binding prices. The final price and terms are agreed between you and the Business.
- You don't have to choose any quote. You can contact up to 3 Businesses that quoted on a request; when you do, your name and phone number are shared with that Business, and the Business's contact details with you. When you mark that you've reached a deal with a Business, your request closes and the other quotes are declined automatically.
- Listings stay live for 30 days. Don't add another person's photo, ID or health information to a tattoo request.
- Businesses may only send genuine quotes they can honor. Free Business accounts may have a limited number of quotes per month.
8. Appointment Requests
- An appointment request is a request sent to a Business; the appointment isn't confirmed until the Business approves it. The Business can approve or decline the request, or contact you.
- When you send an appointment request, your name, email address, phone number and the details in your request (date, time, note, reference image) are shared with the Business.
- The estimated price a Business gives is for information only. No-shows, cancellations, deposits and matters relating to the service itself are between the Client and the Business.
9. Flash Designs
- A Business that publishes a flash design confirms that the design is its own or that it has the right to publish it.
- Flash designs are reserved through an appointment request; sales and payments don't take place on the Platform. The stated price and availability are the Business's own statements.
- Trying a flash design in the tattoo try-on tool doesn't give you the right to use that design elsewhere.
10. Obligations of Business Accounts
Account holders who manage studio, independent artist and clinic pages agree to:
- Hold the permits, licenses and certificates required for their activities (e.g. a business and operating license and a hygiene training certificate; for clinics, the permits required by health legislation) and carry out their activities in line with the legislation.
- Keep the information on their page (name, address, contact details, prices, working hours) accurate and up to date.
- Hold the necessary copyright and usage rights to the photos and designs they upload, and have the explicit permission of the people shown in the photos (e.g. clients who got tattooed).
- Add Artists' details (name, photo, work, social media) to the page only with their permission, and remove them when the Artist leaves the business or asks for it.
- Use Client and applicant information obtained through the Platform only to respond to the relevant request; comply with KVKK Law No. 6698 as the data controller of that data, not add it to advertising lists and not share it with third parties.
- Comply with consumer legislation, commercial advertising rules and price labeling regulations, and not publish misleading prices or content.
- Laser clinics: comply with the legislation on promoting health services, and not publish guarantees of results, before-and-after images or misleading health claims. The information on the Platform is not medical advice.
The relevant Business is responsible for any claims, fines and costs directed at InkTrier because of a breach of these obligations.
11. Prepared Pages That Haven't Been Activated
To invite Businesses to the Platform, InkTrier may prepare a page using only public information (business name, city, Instagram username) and send the invitation link to the Business. These pages:
- Are not published anywhere until the Business opens the link and activates the page, and don't appear in the directory or in search.
- Have an invitation link valid for 30 days; pages that expire without being activated are deleted.
- Can be removed at any time if the Business writes to destek@inktrier.com and asks for it.
If you believe a page belongs to you but notice that someone else has activated it, write to us; we will transfer it to the person whose ownership is verified.
12. Job and Chair Listings
- Only approved Businesses can publish job and chair listings. The Business that posts a listing is responsible for its content, for establishing the employment relationship and for compliance with the legislation (e.g. social security, working conditions).
- Listings may not discriminate on the basis of language, race, color, sex, age, disability, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect, marital status or similar grounds (Turkish Labor Law No. 4857 art. 5, Law No. 6701). Such listings are removed.
- No fee of any kind may be asked of applicants.
- When you apply, your application and contact details (phone, Instagram, portfolio link, message) are shared only with the Business that posted the listing. The Business may use this information only to assess the hiring.
- Chair rental listings are not an employment relationship but a commercial rental relationship between Businesses and artists.
13. Tattoo Courses
- Only approved Businesses can publish course listings; listings are reviewed by InkTrier before they go live. This review doesn't mean the course content, the instructor's competence or the certificate issued has been verified; these are statements of the Business offering the course.
- The Business offering the course is responsible for the permits needed to provide paid training (e.g. a Ministry of Education institution permit under Private Education Institutions Law No. 5580) and for the course's compliance with the legislation.
- Course listings may not contain unverifiable or misleading claims (e.g. "MEB approved" without an institution code, "job guarantee", "internationally valid certificate"). Such listings are not published or are removed.
- Course fees and enrollment and refund terms are between the Business offering the course and the student; InkTrier takes no payments and is not a party to this relationship.
- When you apply to a course, your application and contact details (phone, Instagram, portfolio link, experience level, message) are shared only with the Business offering the course. The Business may use this information only to respond to your application.
14. Tattoo Removal and Health Information
The tattoo removal, pain chart, price guide and blog content is for general information only; it is not medical advice and doesn't replace an examination by a doctor. Laser treatments should only be carried out at authorized healthcare facilities. Price information is meant to give an idea of the market and is not binding.
15. Paid Services
- InkTrier may offer Businesses paid services that provide visibility or extra features (e.g. Premium). The fee, duration, scope and refund terms are communicated separately before the service is purchased, and an invoice is issued.
- Businesses that are featured for a fee are shown on the Platform with a distinguishing mark (e.g. "Premium"). Being featured isn't an assessment of the Business's quality.
- Using the Platform is free for Clients.
16. User Content and License to Use
You remain the owner of the Content you upload. You are responsible for your Content being lawful and not infringing third parties' copyright, trademark, personality and privacy rights.
By uploading Content, you grant InkTrier a worldwide, free, non-exclusive license, valid for as long as the Content stays on the Platform, to use this Content to operate the Platform, display it, process it technically (resizing, compressing, creating previews) and promote the Platform. If you don't want your Content used in promotional work outside the Platform, just let us know at destek@inktrier.com.
InkTrier isn't obliged to check Content in advance, but it may hide or remove, without notice, Content it considers contrary to these Terms or to the law.
17. Prohibited Uses
The following are prohibited on the Platform:
- Publishing unlawful, obscene, violent or hate-inciting, insulting, discriminatory or criminal content.
- Using someone else's photo, design, trademark or personal data without permission; pretending to be another person or business.
- Creating fake listings, quotes, appointment requests or applications; using the Platform for fraud.
- Using contact details obtained through the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages.
- Collecting data from the Platform with automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers); trying to bypass, test or break the Platform's security, operation or limits.
- Copying the Platform's software, reverse engineering it or reproducing it for commercial purposes without permission.
18. Infringement Notices and Content Removal

- Your name and contact details we can reach you at.
Notices about infringements of personality rights are answered within 24 hours at the latest; other notices are reviewed as soon as possible. Content that is clearly unlawful is removed, and the User who uploaded it may be informed. The person sending an unjustified or bad-faith notice is responsible for it.
19. Intellectual Property
The Platform's software, design, interface, the "InkTrier" name and logo, and the content prepared by the Platform (guides, blog posts, sample designs) belong to InkTrier or its licensors. They may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission. You may use the images you create with the tattoo try-on tool for personal purposes; the sample designs in the tool are only for trying on within the Platform.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, InkTrier:
- Is not responsible for the quality, results or health effects of the tattoo, piercing or laser services Businesses provide, or for disputes between Clients and Businesses.
- Doesn't guarantee the accuracy of the Content uploaded by Users and Businesses, and can't be held liable for damages arising from this Content, except where it fails to take the necessary action after an infringement notice.
- Is not responsible for differences between the results of the tattoo try-on tool and the real tattoo.
- Doesn't guarantee that the Platform will run without interruption or errors; the service may be interrupted because of maintenance, updates and technical faults.
- Is not responsible for the content of third-party sites linked from the Platform (e.g. Instagram, WhatsApp, business websites).
These limitations don't apply to damages arising from InkTrier's intent or gross negligence, to damages relating to personality rights and life, or to consumers' rights under mandatory legislation.
21. Suspension and Closure of Accounts
You can close your account whenever you like. To have your account or Business page deleted, just write to destek@inktrier.com from your registered email address; your request is resolved within 30 days at the latest.
InkTrier may temporarily restrict or close an account and remove the related Content in cases of a breach of these Terms, false or misleading information, infringement of others' rights, a breach of the age limit of 18 or a request from an authorized body. For minor breaches, a warning is given first.
22. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be updated because of changes in legislation, new features or changes in how the service works. The current version is published on this page with its "Last updated" date. Changes that substantially affect your rights are announced on the Platform or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the current Terms; if you don't accept them, you can close your account.
23. Notices and Records
Notices to you are sent to the email address on your account or through the Platform. For notices to InkTrier, use destek@inktrier.com. In disputes, the Platform's electronic records (e.g. listing, quote and approval records) may be used as evidence; your right to prove otherwise is reserved.
24. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
- People who use the Platform as consumers may apply, within the monetary limits set each year under Law No. 6502, to the Consumer Arbitration Committees where they live or where the transaction took place, and for disputes above these limits, to the Consumer Courts.
- For disputes with Businesses that use the Platform as merchants or tradespeople, the courts and enforcement offices of InkTrier's place of residence have jurisdiction.
